Noltrex® Vet is an advanced, non-pharmaceutical injectable hydrogel based on 4% polyacrylamide (PAAG), specifically developed for intra-articular use in horses. The product supports joint health by improving lubrication in the joint and reducing friction. Noltrex® forms a durable, protective layer over the cartilage surface, increasing mobility and promoting long-term comfort.

Due to the high viscosity of Noltrex® Vet, injection may require some technical skill. It is important that the injection is performed accurately and carefully to ensure optimal effectiveness and comfort for the horse.
Recommendations for administration:
Precision is essential: Due to the thickness of the product, it is sometimes difficult to keep the needle in the right place during injection.
Use of image guidance: Radiographic or ultrasound guidance is recommended to ensure correct placement of the needle within the joint.
Adjust needle size to the joint: Depending on the joint being treated, an appropriate needle size should be chosen. A needle size from 18G to 21G is common.
Time and technique: Please note that injecting Noltrex® Vet may take longer than usual due to the product's high viscosity. Take your time to ensure a smooth, controlled application.
